Whilst Martin Caceres had his medicals completed yesterday alongside Luca Crecco and André Anderson, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic did not appear in Rome. There were rumours that were raised about the situation and it was reported that he would try to force a move out of Rome by setting up a new contract with Manchester United or Real Madrid.
However, Mateja Kežman, Milinkovic-Savic’s agent spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about the situation: “Sergej missed his flight because of a terrible road accident in Belgrade, which blocked the traffic. He will arrive in Rome on Tuesday, where he will begin the medical exams and then the preparation. I am happy there is so much attention on him, but he really does have an excellent relationship with the club.” It looks like we can prepare for another season with our Sergeant who will arrive later today.
