It was then Mattia Sprocati, the fourth player to speak at the press conference, but firstly he was introduced by DS Igli Tare: “Sprocati is part of our future – he is coming off a positive season with Salernitana, we wanted to see him closely and test him with high-level players”.
“I’m a winger of the left or right, but in the 3-5-2 formation, I can play as a secondary striker. My dream is to remain here with Lazio and I will do everything to achieve this goal”;
“Over the last season I had cradled the idea of being able to land in Rome to play for Lazio.”
Sprocati is 25-years of age and has joined from Salernitana after a wonderful season in the Serie B in which he played in 33 matches scoring 9 goals and providing 7 assists. He is yet to play a match in the Serie A, so it looks as if Lazio will phase him into the team in the years to come, starting him or putting him into play against lower quality sides.
