Milinkovic-Savic in a friendly match against Arsenal

After the friendly match between Arsenal and Lazio in Stockholm, the Biancocelesti midfielder Milinkovic-Savic gave an interview to Lazio Style Channel.

“I really enjoyed the standing ovation when the stadium-speaker called up my name. I played about half an hour this evening and I’m happy to be back. I hope to play many other games. I missed the ball a lot after a month’s holiday and now we are concentrating ahead of next Sunday’s match against Borussia Dortmund. For us this was a good test and I hope it was also for them, [Arsenal] as a great team. Facing the Gunners certainly represented a very important test.”

“Many fans were waiting for me when I arrived to the Paideia Clinic on the day of the my medical-visits; these events are always pleasant. I would like to see many fans attend in Formello too, their support always motivates us.”

“I have returned to Lazio, I have contract with the club and I am focused on my team.”

“Despite this, in football you never know how things will go. Tonight, we created many chances, we could not find the way to the goal, but we hope to be more concrete in the matches that will count. It is necessary to score goals to win the games and this evening’s challenge was certainly a good test.”

“The arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo has highlighted the Serie A – The Italian Championship will be much more fought, compared to the previous years.”

It seems like Sergej is only focusing on Lazio and will stay for the upcoming season, much to Laziali’s appreciation.
