After the arrivals of Proto, Acerbi, Berisha, Durmisi, Correa and Badelj, Lazio need to offload many fringe players off their bloated squad. Then, perhaps, there will be room for another signing before the transfer window ends in Italy on August 17th. Sporting director Igli Tare will therefore have busy days coming his way.
According to Radiosei, Ricardo Kishna has extended his agreement with Lazio for an additional year (from 2019 to 2020) and wants to again move to the boyhood club of ADO Den Haag. He is actually training hard on his own in The Hague to convince his former team of his excellent physical condition.
Joseph Minala also looks for a club and seemed very close to Trabzonspor, but the negotiations fell through. The Turkish club did not accept the loan deal with a option to buy and counter-buy option for Lazio. They only wanted a permanent deal with a right for Lazio to buy him back. The negoations with Trabzonspor is off, but there are many clubs that are interested in the Cameroonian. In addition to Spal, Frosinone and Parma, there is also Steaua Bucharest. The ability to play in the Europa League with the Romanians is a strong factor that could push Minala into accepting a move for a chance of being selected in the Cameroon squad for the Africa Cup of 2019.
Mattia Sprocati did well at Auronzo and has some chance of staying in Rome, even if Parma and Sassuolo wants to take him on loan.
Cristiano Lombardi, who returned from the experience at Benevento, is followed by Genoa, while Lorenzo Filippini has received interest from Poland and Greece (PAS Giannina).
For Davide Di Gennaro Parma remains the favorite, but Spal and Frosinone have not given up on the midfielder.
