Another day, another rumour report. There’s a few Lazio rumours going around today – including a few previously suggested deals with reported new updates. Read on and, if anything new comes up later on, we will certainly be covering it!
Moussa Dembélé [Celtic to Lazio]
The latest forward to be linked to linked to Lazio is Celtic forward Moussa Dembélé. In the event that Felipe Caicedo leaves, it is now being thought that Dembélé is the replacement that Igli Tare and Claudio Lotito are on the tracks of. The young Frenchman is valued at €6 million by TransferMarkt, and, with a contract expiring in 2020, could be available for a fee of €10-15 million – roughly the same figure that was being lined up for Wesley Moraes.
Dembélé is an interesting idea; yet one that hinges on the sale of Felipe Caicedo – thus the likelihood will diminish by the day, with time slowly running out.

Ramires [Jiangsu Suning to Lazio]
This is a deal which is entirely dependent on Sergej Milinkovic-Savic; and the conclusion of his transfer saga. The latest, reportedly, is that Lazio have prepared a contract offer somewhere in the region of €3-€4 million, with Ramires to free himself from Jiangsu Suning if Milinkovic-Savic is to be sold. However, this is a big ‘if’ and therefore the likelihood still remains low.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic [Lazio to Man Utd/Real Madrid]
Realistically, we have to ignore the Milan and Inter rumours that circulated around Milinkovic-Savic last weekend. They were nothing more than media fabrication as neither club could realistically afford the player. However, two clubs that have the money, and the desire, are Man Utd and Real Madrid. Latest reports have suggested that an unnamed club are testing the waters, have presented Mateja Kezman, and therefore Lazio, with a €100 million bid.
Manchester United could be lining up a deal for Milinkovic-Savic as it is looking possible that Paul Pogba will leave the club in favour of a move to Barcelona. This would leave a Milinkovic-Savic sized whole in their midfielder; with Jose Mourinho said to be a big fan of the Serbian.
Real Madrid meanwhile have the funds, after the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, but may first look to strengthen other areas of their team – before splashing money on a central-midfielder/attacking-midfielder, which they already have plenty of.

Felipe Caicedo [Lazio to Valladolid]
According to fresh reports this morning, another Spanish club are interested in an attempt to sign Lazio’s Felipe Caicedo. This time, it is newly promoted Real Valladolid, back in La Liga after four years of absence. Caicedo has played in Spain before and has expressed a willingness, if he were to leave Lazio, to remain in the EU. A move for Valladolid would, therefore, make sense – yet this is another team in a long list of supposedly ‘interested’ parties; including Real Betis and Espanyol in Spain alone. Until more information is released, the likelihood for a move to Valladolid will be low – especially when considering Caicedo’s desire to play in Europa League.
