11/08 Live Lazio rumour report: Ramires, Lazzari & Caicedo

Welcome back, once again, to our Lazio rumour report – where we cover the day’s more obscure/less likely rumours – giving a bit of information, as well as the likelihood of it happening and any other factors. Today we’re looking at all the latest surrounding Ramires, Lazzari, Milinkovic-Savic and Caicedo.

Ramires (Jiangsu Suning to Lazio)

Fresh reports today have stated that Ramires is still interesting Lazio into a potential move. The former Chelsea midfielder has threatened to terminate his contract with Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning but it is thought that Lazio’s purchase of Ramires will only possibly take place if Milinkovic-Savic leaves – which is an unlikely yet still possible scenario. It does appear unlikely that Ramires will make a move to Lazio otherwise; with wage demands causing too much of a problem and a crowding on the centre of midfield also being to blame.

Manuel Lazzari (SPAL to Lazio)

Another name linked to Lazio for a while now, SPAL right-back Manuel Lazzari has supposedly been a target. His agent denied Lazio’s interest a month ago but things may have changed as Lazio seek to include a player-exchange in the deal. SPAL reportedly asked for Murgia but Lazio refused; with the thought that Davide Di Gennaro could now be used to broker a deal. With Dusan Basta supposedly heading towards the exit, there is a space in the right side of the defence that Lazzari may be able to fill.

Felipe Caicedo (Lazio to Rayo Vallecano)

It appears as though Lazio are still trying to get rid of Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo, after he failed to impress all that much last season. Simone Inzaghi, on the other hand, is thought to be a huge fan of the striker – yet Lotito and Tare are wanting him out. The latest club, in a long list of clubs mind you, is Spanish outfit Rayo Vallecano. Vallecano join the likes of Betis, Espanyol and Valladolid in Spain; as well as Club America in Mexico and a couple of Turkish clubs – in pursuit of Felipe Caicedo. Lazio, however, only want to sell or loan him out in the case all his wages are paid in full by the loaning club.
