Paulo Di Canio: “It will be a great challenge for Keita Balde to return to Italy”

Inter Milan and AS Monaco have agreed a reported €39 million deal which would see Senegalese ex-Lazio star Keita Balde return to Italy.

The 23-year-old represented Senegal at this year’s FIFA World Cup, heartbroken as they crashed out in the group stage via the new fair play rules.

Speaking on the forward, former Lazio player Paolo Di Canio said to Sky Sport 24:

“At Lazio when Keita entered a match-in-progress he could give that something more. Spalletti has had difficulty with inserting players who are able to raise the quality of the side, it will be up to him to finally explode. For Keita, it will be a great challenge to return to Italy.”
