Mauro Zarate recently moved from Velez to fellow Argentine side Boca Juniors. The forward’s move to Velez’s not only countrymen but Buenos Aires rivals Boca was met with criticism, especially in light of the forward’s actions since the move and prior.
Zarate spoke to the Argentine press, to whom he revealed: “The environment of Boca is different, it is similar to what I experienced in Rome with Lazio. My brothers? I prefer not to talk about what they said. When I left Velez I did not receive any words of encouragement and the Boca fans were very important to me.“
