Curva platforms installed at Stadio Olimpico

A new season is approaching and there will also be some new things on display at Stadio Olimpico against Napoli. Perhaps it is also to be seen as a peace offering by the authorities after the controversy that surrounded the previous dividing barriers in the curva.

Before the game on Saturday, a total of four platforms have been installed at the bottom of the Curva Nord and the Curva Sud. This is thought to be used by the leaders of the curva that usually sits on the fences when leading the songs and chants of the fans. This is not allowed and could result in a stadium ban.

This is a pilot project by the authorities to bring more order in the stands so maybe this will become a reality in other stadiums as well.
