Felipe Caicedo has been rumoured away from Lazio all summer to make room for another vice-Immobile this season. This has been complicated however, by an absence of proper bids around Lotito’s supposed price tag of 6-7 million euros for the Ecuadorian striker. Lazio does not want to just sell the player on loan but rather on a permanent deal.
Spanish club Rayo Vallecano is reported by Radiosei to be interested in Caicedo. Lazio might, as reported now, be willing to accept a loan deal with an option to buy, but only if Rayo Vallecano covers Caicedo’s wages for the season (net pay 1.2 million euros).
The two main options for Lazio if the striker would finally leave is said to be Club Brugge’s Wesley Moraes (again) or Celtic’s Moussa Dembele.
