It looked as though it might happen after a loan move to Luzern fell through but Alessandro Rossi will be staying at Lazio this season.
The forward, born in 1997, has had a good pre-season, scoring plenty of goals against smaller opposition in the retreat in Auronzo di Cadore.
Now, it looks as though Rossi will remain at Lazio, in order to fight for a place in Lazio’s team; presumably as a vice-Immobile – yet the role holds more credence this year as Inzaghi has toyed with the idea of playing a 3-5-2; which could see Rossi partner Immobile up front.
