Ricardo Kishna’s last appearance for Lazio came in January 2016 during a win over Crotone. Since then he has gone on consecutive loans to LOSC Lille in Ligue 1 and his boyhood club ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie.

Last season saw his return to the Netherlands where he could only manage two appearances, registering one assist, before suffering a serious knee injury in a game against Ajax that ruled him out for the rest of the season.

He is now nearing the end of his rehabilitation and the Dutch winger told Omroep West that he needs “another five or six weeks for my recovery”.

Den Haag is now offering Kishna its facility and medical staff to aid in his recovery. The 23-year-old would like to return to his hometown club before the window closes but is willing to wait until the winter, if necessary, to complete the move.

Den Haag’s Director of Sport Jeffrey van As spoke on Kishna’s possible return, “The fact that we are talking about him shows how he is still one of us. Although we played only a few games last year, we worked really well together.”

With the winger’s contract expiring next summer it seems like a move back to Den Haag is becoming increasingly likely.
