After a strong season in the Serie B with Bari, Lazio signed Djavan Anderson on August 3rd, 2018. The club made the signing official after the player had taken his medicals, announcing the transfer via their social media platforms: “S.S. Lazio announces that it has acquired the sports performances of the player Djavan Lorenzo Anderson on a permanent basis.” Djavan Anderson signed on a free transfer from Bari due to the side declaring bankruptcy and starting from the Serie D [fourth tier of Italian football].
However, on transfer deadline day, after the completion of the loan transfer of André Anderson to Serie B side Salernitana, Djavan was the next player to join the club. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 1995, Djavan Anderson plays a right wing-back or right-back and is also of Jamaican descent. We will see if the player is able to impress once again in the Serie B, and receive a call-up to Lazio as rumored [due to an aging Dusan Basta] in the future.
