One of the first signings of Lazio’s summer transfer window, Mattia Sprocati has been with the Lazio squad since Auronzo Di Cadore after joining from Salernitana for 2.5 million euros. A potential substitute for the upcoming season, Parma swooped in for the player on transfer deadline day to take him on loan – something Lazio will be quite fond of, as it allows for Sprocati to gain much-needed experience in the Serie A TIM while allowing Lazio to have more space in the team [especially after the departures (on loan) of Djavan Anderson, André Anderson, and Davide Di Gennaro].

The 25-year old Italian will now try to impress manager Roberto D’Aversa for a starting position; however, there is tough competition from the likes of newly signed Gervinho, Biabany, Ciciretti, and Inglese, to name a few.
