SPAL demand too much for Lazio to sign Manuel Lazzari

A player linked with Lazio a few times over the summer has been SPAL defender Manuel Lazzari. The Italian has performed very well for SPAL in the last year and Igli Tare reportedly wanted to bring him to Lazio; to potentially replace a possibly outgoing Dusan Basta.

However, according to reports from the Corriere dello Sport, SPAL’s demands for Lazzari have been too high – asking for either €12 million or €6 million plus Alessandro Murgia.

Lazio have no intention of spending this much on Lazzari and Inzaghi and Tare are said to value Murgia tremendously – meaning that the likelihood is Lazio will not be signing Lazzari in the final hours of the transfer window.
