Lazio spokesman – bad mood of Milinkovic-Savic? Nothing to do with market

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was linked strongly with a move away from Lazio this summer; with Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid amongst the frontrunners for the 23-year-old Serbian midfielder.

Speaking on the rumours linking Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto elsewhere; and on the 2-1 defeat to Napoli on Saturday evening, Lazio spokesman Arturo Diaconale spoke to Radio 89.3:

“Bad mood of Luis Alberto and Milinkovic? The only [bad mood] is for the defeat, there are no cases related to the market. The guys want to start over, especially as it came with the victory of Napoli. There is the initial part of the press that has always had a hypercritical attitude towards Lazio, very often unjustified. We will overcome this too because sooner or later they will have to recognise the value of this team”
