Former Biancocelesti striker Oliviero Garlini spoke to the Lazio Style Channel microphones on channel 233 [Sky Sport] about Lazio in the past season, the new 2018/19 season, and new acquisition Milan Badelj.
“Lazio is a club that can cause anyone trouble and provide a challenge, especially thanks to top-level players such as Immobile and Milinkovic-Savic. The match against Napoli was very important for the biancocelesti (however they failed to obtain victory), as from the first matchday, they were called to face a very difficult test: their schedule consists of two top-tier clubs in Napoli and Juve, but it is certainly better to challenge such strong teams at the start of the season then at the end (as we saw for Lazio last year after Lazio failed to defeat Inter in the final match). For Simone Inzaghi’s team (after a 2-1 loss at home and now travelling away to Turin) it will be important to rebound strong, coming out on the right foot to face Juventus with high morale, who at the moment have the strongest line-up in the Italian Serie A TIM.”

For the biancocelesti it will be essential to suffer fewer goals than the last sporting year while continuing to find success with their scorers such as Immobile and Luis Alberto.
