Christopher ‘Chris’ Oikonomidis is Lazio’s 23-year-old Australian winger, who most recently spent a spell on loan at Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League, who, according to reports from CittaCeleste, is a target of 3 A-League clubs: Melbourne City, Perth Glory and Newcastle Jets.
Oikonomidis has not made an appearance for Lazio since a Europa League game against Saint-Etienne in the 2015/16 season; having never feature for the first team in Serie A at all.
He has had loan spells with Salernitana, AGF in Denmark and Western Sydney Wanderers but now it seems that Oikonomidis could be make a permanent return to Australia.
