Alberto Bollini: “Managing an exuberant player like Keita was not easy.

Keita Balde made his return to Serie A this summer, joining Inter Milan from Monaco just a year after he left Lazio in favour of a switch to Ligue 1.

One person who knows Keita very well is former Lazio primavera and first team coach, Alberto Bollini. Bollini spoke to TMW about Keita, revealing facts about his own relationship with the winger:

Keita came to us in 2012, but had to wait until 2013 to play. You will understand that managing an exuberant player like him, without letting him take the field, was not easy. I had to do it, along with the doctor who was another important figure for him. We even organized friendlies specially to allow them to experience the competitive spirit of the matches. With him there was a teacher-pupil relationship, but it is more special than the others. I do not take technical-tactical merits because the talent is his, but I think I was important for his human growth. I’m glad he’s back in Italy.”
