Lazio take on Juventus tomorrow evening and various figures from around Italian football are having their say on a tie which will likely be fiercely contested. Domenico Di Carlo, former head coach of Chievo, Parma and Sampdoria; currently at Serie B Novara, spoke to the microphones of Lazio Style Radio about the Juventus match:

At the beginning of the championship it is always complicated, you never know what the real condition of the team is: the defeat against Napoli certainly did not do well for Lazio, but it is a defeat against a big one. They must find the conviction of last year, Juventus with Chievo has made a heavy victory, deserving in my opinion Lazio must play its game, look only to itself, the motivations will surely be there. Playing against Cristiano Ronaldo gives you a extra motivation.”

“Football is made up of motivations, organization and strategies, as well as quality. Milinkovic and Luis Alberto in my opinion will put in a great performance in Turin, you do not need to put pressure on Lazio – they are a great team, Inzaghi only has to find the results. I am convinced, knowing Inzaghi, that the Biancocelesti will go there with intent to win.”

LAZIO-NAPOLI:  “The episodes have turned in favor of Napoli, but they played as they know, especially in the Milik goal, with Insigne coming back and Callejon passing behind the defenders.” There he needed to have the strength and skill of not grant those spaces: Lazio was not good at countering the qualities of Napoli “.

ACERBI and BADELJ: “Francesco can play as central as he did in Sassuolo, but also in other positions as he did with me at Chievo. Badelj? He can play with Leiva, but in that case he would have to change the midfield and the system.”
