According to TuttoC.com, Pro Piacenza in Serie C could be about to sign the former Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma, 35. Ledesma is said to meeting the Piacenza management within the next 48 hours in order to work out the final details of the contract.
Cristian Ledesma joined Lazio from Lecce in 2006 and is, by most, remembered for his derby goal against Roma. He left Lazio in 2015 on a free transfer after being given less playing time than he wanted at the club. Ledesma signed for Brazilian club Santos but left after discontent about how the club was managed. He signed for Greek top club Panathinaikos and later also played for Ternana and Lugano. The Italo-Argentine midfielder also represented Italy at one occasion.
