Lazio’s young Lithuanian goalkeeper Marius Adamonis, who spent last year on loan at Salernitana, is now set for a new spell away from Rome. According to Sky Sport, Adamonis is close to signing a loan contract with Casertana in the third tier of Italian football (Serie C). The deal is without any clauses or options to buy and Adamonis will still have a contract with Lazio until 2022. Sports Director of Casertana, Aniello Martone, has also confirmed that the deal is close to the newspaper “Il Mattina”.
The 1997 born keeper has tough competition with the likes of Thomas Strakosha, Silvio Proto, and Guido Guerrieri all ahead of him; we are yet to see if he will break through the biancocelesti ranks.
