The Europa League draw took place this morning, drawing Lazio into a group alongside last year’s beaten finalists Marseille, Frankfurt and Limassol. A tough group for Lazio and there has been plenty of reaction to the draw over the past few hours.
Speaking to Sky Sport, former Lazio player and current staff member Angelo Peruzzi spoke about the draw:
“It is the worst group possible, ours is the most difficult with that of Leipzig. For those who were in the first group I have not seen any other problems: Marseille is an excellent formation, like the Eintracht. Find the form of last year? After two defeats is not easy, we have faced two very strong formations. Our championship must start on Sunday, we have zero points on the other hand. Without Felipe Anderson? well, we have very important players who can do very well.”
