Lazio were drawn into their Europa League draw this morning, alongside a group of Marseille, Frankfurt and Limassol. Marseille’s director Colette, formerly of Roma, spoke to the microphones of TMW about the draw, and the strengths of Lazio:
“It could have been better, it’s always a matter of luck. It will be a difficult group, a great challenge for us but this is football. If you want to win you have to beat everyone. The show will certainly be nice, I know Lazio well, play great football. Eintracht is a historic Bundes club. For us it will be interesting, we will have the right arguments to say ours. Me, Garcia and Strootman ex of Rome? It will be a special race, Lazio is a super team and we respect it. Going back to the Olimpico will be exciting. What do I fear of Lazio? They have great players like Immobile and Milinkovic-Savic, but Inzaghi is also an excellent coach. It will be tough but we are 11 against 11 in 90 minutes, anything can happen.“
