Renzo Garlaschelli, former Lazio player, often speaks about the club and today was no different, as he sat down with TuttoMercatoWeb to answer some questions about Lazio, their Europa League draw and what is missing…

When asked about Lazio’s UEFA Europa League group, where they were drawn alongside Marseille, Eintracht Frankfurt and Apollon Limassol, Garlaschelli replied with “Lazio can beat it, I think it is doable. Although now I seem to see the team of the last three games of the past year.

When asked how he thinks Lazio will do in Serie A, he replied with “Some players are still not very well and two very strong teams have been played. It is a condition problem but what has been done in the past year has a value. And the team is practically the same. Repetition is never easy, but I think Lazio can still fight for fourth or fifth position.

On the topic of Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto, who have been criticised for not playing fantastically so far: “They are still far from the best shape. Luis Alberto last year was a surprise while Milinkovic confirmed. I’m also sorry for the departure of Felipe Anderson, the absence of the Brazilian can leave a team feeling empty.

Finally, on the topic of vice-Immobile and what is missing from Lazio, Garlaschelli said “Is a vice-Immobile still missing? I would say yes; also because if Immobile were, by chance, to get injured, who would be in his place? There is no player in front of him who can look like him.”
