Luis Alberto scored his first goal of the season for Lazio yesterday evening when he scored what would be the team’s winner in a 1-0 victory over Frosinone. After the game, Luis Alberto spoke to Sky Sport to discuss the result, the rumours of him leaving in the summer and the next steps for him and the club:
“Today only the result counted; the victory. Now we will have the stop to work and find both the physical and mental condition. Missing out on Champions League? Of course it hurt us, we did a lot to get there, especially against Inter, and it was tough. This year we will have to try again. On the market rumors there was nothing true, last year I knew that this year I would remain. After the injury I was not well, it was a heavy situation and I was not 100%. These 10 days I will have to work to get back to the best shape.”
