Felipe Caicedo is set to remain a Lazio player for at least another year; after having failed to move away from the Italian capital in the summer. A whole array of teams were reportedly interested yet Lazio were only interested in a permanent move for the Ecuadorian; which the interested parties were largely unwilling to agree to.
According to the very latest reports from Spanish radio station Radio Sevilla, Lazio, in fact, offered Felipe Caicedo to La Liga outfit Sevilla; with Lotito personally asking if they would like to sign the forward. However, the Spaniards said no and thus Caicedo remains at Lazio.
It could be that a club comes knocking in January, as Lazio will be eager to sort a proper replacement in order to have apt cover for Ciro Immobile, should the Italian ‘bomber’ get injured.
