According to what has been reported by CalcioMercato.it (via LazioNews.eu), Manchester United are still interested in signing Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, in the event that that Paul Pogba leaves the club to join Barcelona or Juventus in January.
Claudio Lotito is still working on a contract renewal for the 23-year-old but, unless Lazio qualify for the Champions League (sooner rather than later), it is likely that, at some point, the Serbian will leave the club.
Milinkovic-Savic was a target of a number of clubs over the summer, with clubs thought to have made €100 million+ offers for the midfielder. However, he remained with the club and will help the Biancocelesti as they strive for a top four finish this year; after just missing out last season, losing to Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on the final day of the season.
