Whilst the UEFA Nations League kicks off its inaugural match-day, there are some Lazio players away on international duty. The likes of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Ciro Immobile and Martin Caceres are all on duty; whilst as are some of the younger cast: Alessandro Murgia, Pedro Neto and Bruno Jordao.

Simone Inzaghi has hatched a plan to help restore match fitness in those not on international duty, by planning a friendly fixture against Roman side Lupa Roma on Saturday 8th September.

This will give some bit-part players a chance to get on the pitch, whilst Inzaghi gets a feel for who is prepared for the game after the international break against newly promoted Empoli.
