Simone Inzaghi’s assistant manager, Massimiliano Farris, spoke to Lazio Style Channel about the match against Frosinone and why that victory, despite being over smaller opposition, was so important:
“For the challenge of last Sunday we played it safe after two games where we have seen positive things and others less-so: zero points from the first two was the most negative aspect. It was necessary to give continuity to the growth of the condition of some players. The match was played as we wanted and with right interpretation, knowing well that Frosinone would come to the Olimpico to shut-out and leave us few spaces.”
“A coach and a staff always go in search of the best solution to win: we faced two strong opponents, we saw some positive things and, bringing forward the whole group, we felt it was appropriate to continue on this line.”
