Angola-Botswana: Bastos plays full 90 minutes in 1-0 victory

It was an important victory for Angola, who beat Botswana by a score of 1-0 in the race to qualify for the African Cup. Placed in Group I, they managed to secure their first three points after losing in their debut match against Burkina Faso (who were stopped by Mauritania, the only one with full points in the group; 6). A goal by 22-year old Gelson Dala of Portuguese side Rio Ave (on loan from Sporting) in the 30′ was all that was needed to decide the match.

Lazio defender Bastos remained in the field for the entire duration of the match, displaying a positive outing with class and personality. Let’s see his nation are able to qualify, but for the time being, he can certainly return to Rome with a smile, hoping for a call-up from Simone Inzaghi once again soon to impress and retain a position in the starting XI.

Out of Wallace, Bastos, and Caceres, who would you start in the right center back position? Yes, Wallace has played well since the injury to Brazilian Luiz Felipe, but will he be able to maintain his form?
