Lazio are set for busy months of negotiation, as a handful of the club’s top players are set for or considering contract renewals. Ciro Immobile, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto are all currently being lined up for possible new deals, after their hard work which helped Lazio finish 5th last season.
Not only these three but new contracts are also on the horizon for Lucas Leiva, Stefan Radu and Senad Lulic; who will likely increase Lazio’s wage output, combined with the prior three, by a noticeable 20% – showing Lotito’s wish to build the club up, slowly moving away from the days of frugal spending that have let Lazio stagnate outside of the top four.
Both Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile are likely to receive contracts with a base pay of €3 million a year, with addition bonuses, the most that any one player has earned at the club since Claudio Lotito became the president of the club.
