The UEFA Commission of Appeals has issued its verdict regarding Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille. There is a heavy blow due to incidents caused by their fans over the course of the last European season, against RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, and in the Lyon final lost in May against Atletico Madrid: there will be two matches with closed doors and four without the curvas. The French club will also have to pay a fine of 100 thousand euros to compensate for the damage. The closed-door competition will take place on 20 September in the home challenge against German side Eintracht Frankfurt, while against Lazio (25 October) and Apollon (13 December) the two curva corners must remain empty.
