Lazio take on Cypriot side Apollon Limassol in the Europa League group stage on Thursday; a game that Simone Inzaghi will be expecting his men to win. Lazio have won back-to-back games against Frosinone and Empoli either side of the international break and will be looking to better last season’s Europa League exit in the quarter-final. Speaking to the Cyprus Mail, via LaLazioSiamoNoi, Limassol attacker Andre Schembri spoke ahead of the fixture:
‘Thursday’s match against Lazio will show us how much we can progress in the competition. Even if we found ourselves in a difficult group with very high level teams, everything is possible in football. Last year we managed to get good results away from home against similar clubs.’
