Lazio won their third consecutive game in all competitions last night, winning 2-1 against Apollon Limassol thanks to goals from Luis Alberto and Ciro Immobile. Lazio have a busy week of games, playing Genoa at the weekend, Udinese mid-week and finally in the Rome derby against Roma next weekend. The Biancocelesti still have the likes of Luiz Felipe, Valon Berisha and Stefan Radu injured, yet they are all fighting to be back in time for the fierce derby.
Berisha is still yet to play an official first team game for Lazio, having been injured since the summer. At Formello today, Berisha rejoined the main squad to take part in technical training exercises. However, he did not take part in the crossing and shooting section, skipping the training match towards the end of the morning session. Likely not available for Genoa, Berisha is expected back for the mid-week game against Udinese.
Luiz Felipe has been injured since the first game of the season where Lazio lost 2-1 to Napoli. Luiz Felipe could be available for the Udinese game but is more likely to be training his fitness to come back for the match against Roma.
Finally, Stefan Radu was the most recent to suffer an injury, taking damage to his flexor. It is likely that Radu will not be available for the game against Roma however, this will be known for certain at the beginning of next week.
