Andre Silva was a name linked to Lazio over the summer, as the Biancocelesti continued their search for a forward to replace Felipe Caicedo as the ‘vice-Immobile’. Caicedo has come into his own this season and suddenly the decision to not sell the Ecuadorian forward is seen as a good one; with the Panther finally coming into his own in light blue colours.
According to what has been reported by CalcioMercato, there is no substantiated truth to the rumours linking Andre Silva to Lazio; and especially not now. Silva is currently on loan at Sevilla and the reports state that Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare has already told Jorge Mendes, Andre Silva’s agent, that Lazio will not be making a move for the Portuguese striker once he returns to Milan from Spain.
