Udinese vs Lazio, Correa: ‘Happy for support from teammates, Luis Alberto a great friend’

Joaquin Correa scored his first goal for Lazio yesterday evening in his first start for the club; as the Biancoceleste ran out 2-1 winners against Udine-based Udinese. Goals from Francesco Acerbi and Correa, who both scored their first goals for the club, separated the two teams, despite a fantastic, yet deflected, overhead kick goal from Udinese defender Bram Nuytinck.

Speaking to Sky Sport, via CalcioMercato, after the game, Correa revealed his thoughts and named which particular Lazio player has been a great friend to him:

“I’m really happy for all the support of my teammates in these days where I have not playing too much, I thank them. More importantly for us, we have to rest to be 100% available to the coach Luis Alberto is a great friend and a great player, here he treated me very well and made me feel at home.”
