Igli Tare receives Albanian Sports Ambassador award

Lazio’s sporting director Igli Tare has been awarded the main award at the Albanian Sports Ambassador competition, the main award being the one of most recognition. The former Lazio forward turned director received the award on the basis of his contribution for Albanian sports.

Speaking on the award, Tare said: “Here I feel at home. I also said on the podium that this is a special award, it’s the first time I get a similar evaluation in Albania. I feel very good, I can say that sweat and sacrifices have been repaid. I share this award with the Albanian Under 21 coach, Alban Bushi.”

Tare is instrumental to SS Lazio and almost plays a more instrumental part than Claudio Lotito; securing some of the best, most profitable transfers in Europe. Tare has signed the likes of Milinkovic-Savic, Strakosha, de Vrij and Felipe Anderson; all worth far more than was paid for.
