January is still a long ways to go, but the transfer market never stops. In terms of arrivals, most know that the rumors will pile up while Claudio Lotito and Igli Tare will wait for a perfect moment to strike. On the other hand, the departure list may be the hotter topic at the club: right now, the Lazio squad is too full – they must allow players to depart to free up room not only for Simone Inzaghi but for money.

As reported by Radiosei, the salaries of the players outside the current Laziale project – players who have not yet found accommodation in the summer – are beginning to take a toll: Ravel Morrison, Joseph Minala, Mauricio, Cristiano Lombardi, Lorenzo Filippini, and Brayan Perea are the players on this list, as the struggle to find them a club remains.

Additionally, these six players are not the only ones who are on the expected departure list: Dusan Basta seems destined to salute the capital, as the return of Jordan Lukaku – which is expected shortly – will most definitely exclude the Serbian from the Serie A TIM league list. The fullback will remain in the Europa League squad – in which he will have to serve a disqualification after the expulsion that occurred against Eintracht Frankfurt in Matchday 2 – but with his contract expiring in June, a farewell is anticipated, especially as in the summer the club had already tried to find him another accommodation.

Lastly, the situation surrounding Danilo Cataldi, Alessandro Murgia, and Alessandro Rossi is different than those of the aforementioned players: the long squad list has reduced their appearances and it has not been excluded that at the opening of the transfer market, any of them will leave on loan to secure regular, consistent playing time.
