The players of Lazio who are called by their respective national teams continue to play: at 13:00 it was Martin Caceres’ turn with his Uruguay as they took on South Korea.

The match, which was staged in Seoul at 20:00 local time, saw the Selección succumb in front of an excellent performance of the hosts, who resisted the incursions of the Uruguayans and managed to find the first advantage in the 66′ with Ui-Jo Hwang, who put in the rebound of a teammate’s missed penalty kick. 1-0 lasted only a few minutes thanks to the equalizer from Matias Vecino, served in the area by the former Sampdoria man Lucas Torreira. But for Caceres and his teammates, there was little to celebrate: in the 80′, it was Woo-Young Jung to beat goalkeeper Fernando Muslera again and definitively fix the result on 2-1.

For Caceres, he played the full 90′ in a starting role at right-back of a back four defense.
