Although there was no club football from the Lazio first or primavera teams this weekend, the other youth sectors did, in fact, play. Whilst the world is captivated, or bored to death, by the international break, Lazio’s young players have secured three victories to make Sunday 14th October a great day.
In the 6th game of the U17 season, Lazio hosted Juventus, beating the Bianconeri 3-1 thanks to goals from Bertini and Moschini. In the 6th game of the U16 season, Lazio defeated Spezia 1-0 thanks to a goal from Mancino and finally, in the 6th game of the U15 season, Lazio beat Spezia 3-1 – with a goal from Milani and a brace from Del Mastro.
A bright day for young eagles and one which shows that the future of the Biancocelesti company is not at all bleak.
