Lazio’s Spanish defender Patric may have signed a new contract during the summer to keep him at the club until 2022, however, after being left out of the Europa League squad and voicing his unhappiness on social media, the Spaniard could seek a way out of Rome – despite being promised minutes in Serie A to make up for it by Inzaghi.
According to reports from the Turkish media, via LazioNews.eu, Turkish league club Besiktas are interested in signing Patric. The club have yet to make an official move for the Spaniard but the reports from the media are suggesting that they could get in touch with Lazio in the coming weeks as they seek to discuss a deal.
Patric is thought to welcome a move to Besiktas if one happens to materialise, perhaps spelling the end for the full-back’s stint in the Italian capital.
