Reports earlier this week suggested that Lazio have a chance of signing Yacine Brahimi from FC Porto, with the Algerian’s contract with the side expiring in the summer of 2019. Brahimi has been a long-time target of the Biancocelesti and with the troubles that the side have had so far this season going forward, Brahimi would be a welcome signature next summer, if not one a little too late.
Il Corriere dello Sport, via LazioNews.eu, are reporting that Lazio, to tempt the Algerian into a move to Rome, would need to offer the 28-year-old a 4-5 year contract; earning around €2 million per season. Lazio will need to fight off competition from Olympique Lyonnais, Olympique Marseille, Besiktas and West Ham United; who are all suitors for Porto’s tricky forward.
