Brazilian defender Wallace has greatly improved under Simone Inzaghi this season, starting regularly for the Biancocelesti so far this season. The centre-back silenced his doubters with some strong performances, including doing very well against Cristiano Ronaldo in Lazio’s first away game of the season against Juventus in Turin. Speaking to Lazio Style Channel after Lazio’s win with Spal, Wallace revealed more of his and the team’s thoughts:
“We always work hard, regardless of the opponent’s blazon to be dealt with, we have always set ourselves the goal of growing and, after last Monday’s defeat, we were called to improve and to return to triumph. We succeeded and even after the equalising goal we were still showing a winning mentality. We are happy, now we have to move forward on this path.”
