Lazio youngster Pedro Neto scored his first international goal for Portugal’s under-19 side yesterday to help Portugal defeat Germany. The two sides met in a friendly international which was only settled when Neto found the net in the 57th minute.
The Portuguese forward wore the number 7 shirt for the U19’s today and is considered to be one of the brightest young players in the world, let alone Lazio’s youth ranks.

Neto joined Lazio on loan from Portuguese side Braga in 2017, with the loan fee standing at €7.5m with a €5m obligation to buy in the summer of 2019. Neto was signed alongside compatriot and midfielder Bruno Jordao and both are seen as two of Igli Tare’s latest ‘smart’ signings.
