Correa: “I work hard, I hope I can find more space”

“The goal was like a liberation. We would not have deserved defeat. We played well, we are happy, but we needed something more in front of goal”. These were the words of Argentine attacker Joaquin Correa, after scoring the tying goal against Milan in the 90’+4′ this past Matchday in the Serie A TIM.

A splendid goal, the goal allowed Simone Inzaghi’s team to obtain a point and remain in the same position, on top of Milan in the standings. From the moment he entered the pitch, Correa was decisive: he had two shots, three tackles, and completed 10 of 12 passes. However, he hopes to have a few more chances, as revealed to Sky Sports at the end of the match: “I always train well to be available to the coach. Of course, I hope to find more space”.

The ball now rolls to Inzaghi’s feet in making an executive decision, but after yesterday’s feat, we expect Correa to be starting a lot more.
