Lazio vs Milan, the statistics and numbers

In the thirteenth round of the Serie A TIM, Simone Inzaghi and Lazio hosted Gennaro Gattuso’s Milan. A 1-1 final result, this is just the Biancocelesti’s second draw of the season in the Italian football league; Frank Kessie opened the scoring in the 78′ thanks to a deflection off of Wallace, whilst Joaquin Correa found the equalizer in the 90’+4′. Analyzing the individual performances, to have impressed surprisingly was Milan Badelj. Filling in for the unfit Lucas Leiva, the Croatian was the best performer on the pitch on Sunday. Inzaghi’s number 25 had seven interceptions, completed 72 of 80 passes (90%), had two key passes, and saw 7.8% of the ball with 96 touches – the most out of any player on the pitch.

Looking towards a physical point of view, Marco Parolo turned out to be the player to have traveled the most kilometers during Lazio vs Milan; 12.46 kilometers. Looking at Lazio as a whole, the total distance covered was 112.56 kilometers compared to a Milan of 108.71 kilometers.

At the end of the match, Joaquin Correa was elected as the ‘Most Valuable Player’. Il Tucu scored his fourth goal this season,  the third in this Serie A. For the number 11, it is also his first goal in the league at home, wearing the Bandiera shirt.
