Report: Lazio interested in Sampdoria’s Jacopo Sala

With Marusic’s physical problems and the technical limitations that others – such as Patric and Dusan Basta – have shown, the priority is to find a footballer capable of playing on the right-flank who can offer Simone Inzaghi an extra solution. In addition to the names previously mentioned – Davide Zappacosta, Matteo Darmian, Giulio Donati, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Hans Hateboer – another player has popped up on the biancoceleste radar.

As reported in the press review of Radiosei, Lazio has set their eyes on Sampdoria’s Jacopo Sala. The 27-year-old right-back is finding little space with coach Marco Giampaolo and because of this, he could be on his way out of Genoa this January in search of a new adventure and more playing time. His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2020, so there is still some time if Lazio is to wait.

Sala has made 50 appearances with Sampdoria and another 52 with Hellas Verona, making him somewhat of a Serie A TIM veteran – could he be the solution to Lazio’s problems? Let us know.
