The Lazio transfer market in January has already become interesting with several players already being linked to the club. The latest, however, comes as a bit of a surprise to most. Lazio will be facing Sevilla in the next round of the UEFA Europa League and striker Luis Muriel has rumored to be of interest to the Biancocelesti. The former striker of Sampdoria and Udinese is not finding much space in Spain and Sevilla would like to sell him, even on loan with a right of redemption. An idea that, as reported tuttomercatoweb.com, teases Lazio a lot; the Colombian has made just six La Liga appearances this year and five Europa League appearances, scoring a total of three goals in this process. The overall problem is tied to the European competition at the end of the day: would the Spanish club let Muriel leave to strengthen their opponent’s side in the Europa League?
