Lazio defeated Cagliari 3-1 at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday afternoon, with goals from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Francesco Acerbi and Senad Lulic separating the two sides, with a late goal from Joao Pedro from the penalty spot giving the visitors a consolation. Joaquin Correa thrived well in an attacking midfield partnership with Luis Alberto, being one of the club’s stand-out players. Speaking to the microphones of Lazio Style Channel after the game, Correa reflected on the match:
‘I am pleased that the team is so high up in the standings, we are a good team and we will fight against each opponent until the end. Already from tomorrow we will think about the next game, step by step we will look at the ranking.
‘The formation? I do not know, this is managed by the coach. Personally I feel good with both formations.’
